This Privacy Policy explains how Network Guide Academy ("Network Guide Academy", "we", "us" or "our") handles personal information when you visit https://networkguideacademy.com, create an account, use courses or resources, participate in the community, register for live training, purchase a membership, use the Resume Builder, contact us, or otherwise use the service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and profile data: name, email address, optional phone number, profile details, account role and verification status.
  • Security data: password hashes (not plain-text passwords), authentication events, 2FA status, login attempts, IP address, browser/device information and security logs.
  • Learning and community data: enrollments, progress, quiz attempts, certificates, bookmarks, posts, replies, likes, reports and other content you submit.
  • Transaction data: order references, purchased items, payment status, invoice/refund references, membership status, training registrations and resume-export unlock references. Payment credentials such as card or bank details are handled by the configured payment provider and are not intentionally stored by Network Guide Academy.
  • Support and communications: messages, feedback, newsletter subscriptions and training enquiries.
  • Technical and usage data: pages viewed, referrer, session/visitor identifiers, approximate location derived from IP, browser/device data and performance/security logs.

2. How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the service; create and authenticate accounts; provide courses, downloads, live training, memberships, community features and certificates; process and reconcile payments; provide support; prevent fraud and abuse; communicate service or training updates; maintain backups and audit logs; measure performance; improve content; and comply with legal obligations.

3. Google Analytics

When Google Analytics 4 is enabled and the applicable consent choice permits it, Google Analytics may collect information about visits and interactions using cookies or similar identifiers. We use this information to understand website usage and improve the service. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers or other information that Google could recognize as personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. Learn how Google processes information from partner sites at Google's partner-sites information page.

4. Advertising and Google AdSense

If Google AdSense is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on a visitor's use of this site and/or other sites. Users can manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. Other advertising partners, if used, will be identified in this policy or the Advertising & Sponsored Content Policy.

For traffic where Google requires a certified consent management platform for personalized advertising, Network Guide Academy is designed to work with Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified CMP. The site owner must configure and publish that CMP in the relevant advertising account.

5. Cookies and consent

Essential cookies are used for security, authentication and core functionality. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are controlled through the website's cookie-preference controls when enabled and, where applicable, through a certified advertising consent platform. See our Cookie Policy for details.

6. Service providers and disclosures

We may use service providers for hosting, database/storage, backups, email delivery, analytics, payment processing, fraud/security controls, advertising and other operational services. We share only information reasonably necessary for those providers to perform their services, subject to their contracts and applicable law. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect rights or security, or in connection with a legitimate business transfer.

7. International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for international transfers. Actual provider locations depend on the services configured by Network Guide Academy.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, account/service delivery, payment and tax records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup cycles, security and legal obligations. Account and community data may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Backup copies may persist until normal backup rotation completes.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. You may also unsubscribe from marketing communications and change cookie preferences where available. Requests may be sent to [email protected]. We may need to verify identity before acting on a request.

10. Children's privacy

Network Guide Academy is intended for users who can lawfully enter into the relevant agreement or use the service with any required parent/guardian authorization. Do not knowingly submit a child's personal information contrary to applicable law.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards such as password hashing, access controls, CSRF protection, rate limiting, secure transport in production, audit logging, backups and optional administrator 2FA. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as services, providers or legal requirements change. Material changes should be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, providing additional notice.
