Community Guidelines
Last updated: 7 September 2026
The Network Guide Academy Community is a professional learning space for networking, security, automation, cloud, career and related technical discussions.
Be professional and constructive
Discuss ideas, configurations and technical decisions without harassment, threats, hate, personal attacks or targeted abuse.
Protect confidential and personal information
Do not post customer/employer secrets, credentials, private IP plans tied to a real organization, access tokens, personal data, payment information or confidential incident details unless you have clear authority and have safely redacted sensitive information.
No malicious or illegal content
Do not post malware, phishing, credential theft, unlawful access instructions, fraud, spam, scams or content intended to cause real-world harm. Legitimate defensive security discussion must stay within lawful and authorized use.
Respect intellectual property and certification rules
Do not upload copyrighted books/courses without permission, pirated software, stolen content or prohibited certification exam dumps. Summaries, original explanations and lawful quotations should respect applicable rights.
No deceptive promotion
Do not use community posts primarily for undisclosed affiliate links, repetitive promotion, fake testimonials, recruitment scams or misleading commercial offers.
Technical safety
Clearly label destructive commands, production-impacting changes or risky troubleshooting steps. Readers remain responsible for validating changes in an authorized lab/change process.
Premium areas
Member-only categories remain subject to these rules. Membership does not create confidentiality between participants; do not post information that must remain secret.
Moderation
Moderators may edit visibility, lock, remove or restore content; resolve reports; restrict accounts; and take other reasonable action to protect the community. Decisions may consider context, severity, repetition and legal/security risk.
Reporting
Use the built-in report feature for suspected violations. For urgent security/privacy concerns contact [email protected].
